  1. Kind of confused…but I’ll try to run with it so PHP is the everyday average hard working Joe. He get the jobs done, although he’s rather common and somewhat bland. Agreed. Java and C# are more commonly used to build desktop applications. They are enterprise level, typically taught at University, and practically house hold names…especially Java. On the surface they seem sharp, but once you dig in they both have a ton of problems like a sleazy business man who drowns his sorrows in a bottle hence the somewhat identical photos. For the most part I agree although lately I’ve been coming across some amazing C# applications for the Linux desktop made with Mono such as Gnome-Do. Ruby is the language out of these 4 I know the best. Ruby source code is clean, lean, and beautiful hence a pageant model. Agreed. Although Ruby is also young, relatively processor intensive especially compared to PHP and C#, and not nearly as common as the rest. Just my two cents, tell me you guys think I’m on target.
