Ding-dong the waitlist is dead

People have been asking for waitlist updates: surprise, surprise – it’s been non-existent for over a week! We’re happy to be caught up and hope to stay that way. Prepayments remain in place ranging from 3-12 months. Feel free to snag your slice at will and thanks to those who waited patiently during the previous months.

    I just wanted to say that I for one really appreciate the wait list system you guys have in place. It’s nice to know you’re not overselling and the waiting list system is a great way to accomplish that.

    Exactly! Keep the waiting list. You’ll filter out the bozos that need $2 per decade hosting with 80 terabytes per day of bandwidth.

    I love the site. I love the service (so far, been using 15 minutes..lol).

    Keep it simple and real!

    Anyway, I do hope y’all are willing to waitlist again if the demand outstrips your infrastructure. One thing I can’t stand is being with a company that grows too fast to keep up. Been using a year, got in behind the waitlist, and still loving it.

    I got mine as soon as I noticed there were no waits and am so happy to have one finally. We had been with MediaTemple for a year and they just couldn’t handle my Ruby App anymore and I needed to expand back into deeper PHP and Perl.

    It’s actually nice to not have to worry about running up resources anymore since I have root to control situations like that.

    Glad to hear this, it means you’re doing well enough to expand the server volume in-line with the demand! Awesome!

    I’ve been on Slicehost for over a year now and it’s been the best web hosting experience I’ve ever had. Keep up the great work guys!
